BermudAir launched scheduled nonstop service between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and Providenciales’ Howard Hamilton International Airport (PLS) on October 26, 2026. The inaugural arrival was welcomed by the Turks and Caicos Islands Airports Authority (TCIAA), marking the airline’s entry into the territory’s scheduled air transport market.

The carrier announced an initial three-times-weekly service, operating on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with schedules varying across the winter season. The route forms part of a wider network development programme first announced earlier in 2026.

Fort Lauderdale Service Marks BermudAir’s Entry into Turks and Caicos

The new service adds BermudAir to the airlines operating between South Florida and Providenciales, providing another scheduled option on an established international air corridor.

According to the airline’s initial timetable, flights depart Fort Lauderdale at 5:40 p.m. and arrive in Providenciales at 7:25 p.m., with the return service departing the following morning. Flight timings and operating days are subject to seasonal changes.

The October 26 launch also coincided with BermudAir’s introduction of nonstop service between Fort Lauderdale and Belize City, extending the airline’s operations in the Caribbean and Central America.

Selvyn H., Chief Executive Officer of the TCIAA, welcomed the inaugural Providenciales service as part of the authority’s wider efforts to strengthen air connectivity.

In a statement following the arrival, he identified air service development, diversification of airline partnerships and access to new or underserved markets as priorities for the territory’s aviation sector.

For the airport authority, BermudAir’s arrival introduces an additional airline partner ahead of a winter schedule that will extend beyond the initial Florida connection.

Winter Schedule Adds North American and Caribbean Links

From December, BermudAir plans to expand its Turks and Caicos network through additional services linking Providenciales with destinations in North America and the Caribbean.

The published programme includes flights involving Toronto, Raleigh–Durham, Baltimore/Washington, Boston, Newark and St. Petersburg/Clearwater, alongside regional links with Grand Cayman, Bermuda and Anguilla.

Several services are scheduled to begin between December 18 and 24, although operating days and routing arrangements vary by destination. Not every itinerary marketed within the network represents a nonstop flight.

The expansion will also support connections between Caribbean destinations. Scheduled service between Providenciales and Grand Cayman is due to begin on December 18, while additional flights involving Anguilla form part of BermudAir’s wider winter programme.

The airline’s plans complement its previously announced expansion of Anguilla’s winter air network.

For Turks and Caicos, the December programme will broaden the number of markets served by BermudAir beyond the initial Fort Lauderdale route.

South Caicos Gains a Planned Newark Connection

The winter expansion will also extend to South Caicos, where BermudAir plans to introduce seasonal nonstop flights from Newark Liberty International Airport.

The Newark–South Caicos service is scheduled to begin on December 20, 2026, operating twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays through April 25, 2027, subject to applicable regulatory approvals.

The route will provide a scheduled international air connection to South Caicos without requiring passengers travelling from the New York metropolitan area to transfer through Providenciales.

BermudAir’s published timetable also includes flights between Providenciales and South Caicos, adding an inter-island component to the carrier’s planned operations in the territory.

The development is distinct from the airline’s services into Providenciales, the main international gateway for Turks and Caicos.

With Fort Lauderdale–Providenciales now operating and further services scheduled for December, BermudAir‘s expansion moves from network announcements to the phased introduction of new air connections across the islands.
