Derri\u00e8re cette apparente continuit\u00e9, plusieurs signaux structurels indiquent toutefois un port engag\u00e9 dans une phase de repositionnement r\u00e9gional plus affirm\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n<p>Selon les chiffres officiels publi\u00e9s par l\u2019autorit\u00e9 portuaire, le trafic total de marchandises a atteint 3,4 millions de tonnes, en hausse de 2 % en glissement annuel. Le nombre d\u2019escales commerciales progresse de 6 %, avec 1 117 navires enregistr\u00e9s. Le trafic conteneuris\u00e9 s\u2019\u00e9tablit \u00e0 207 000 TEUs, \u00e9galement en augmentation de 2 %. Surtout, les volumes de transbordement bondissent de 13 %, atteignant 40 000 TEUs \u2014 un indicateur \u00e0 analyser \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle du bassin carib\u00e9en.<br\/>  <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Un tonnage stable, des signaux strat\u00e9giques plus discrets<\/h2>\n\n<p>\u00c0 premi\u00e8re vue, 2025 s\u2019inscrit dans la continuit\u00e9 de 2024. Le tonnage global demeure modeste \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle r\u00e9gionale, mais stable. Or, dans un environnement carib\u00e9en hautement concurrentiel, la stabilit\u00e9 constitue en soi un indicateur significatif.  <\/p>\n\n<p>La progression de 13 % du transbordement traduit un renforcement de l\u2019int\u00e9gration du port dans les r\u00e9seaux maritimes r\u00e9gionaux. Si la Guadeloupe ne se positionne pas comme hub principal \u00e0 l\u2019instar de Kingston ou Caucedo, la hausse des volumes de transbordement sugg\u00e8re une utilisation croissante du port dans les strat\u00e9gies de rotation des armateurs. <\/p>\n\n<p>Les marchandises conteneuris\u00e9es repr\u00e9sentent 48 % du trafic total, les vracs liquides 23 % et les vracs solides 22 %. Cette structure \u00e9quilibr\u00e9e conf\u00e8re une certaine r\u00e9silience op\u00e9rationnelle, tout en refl\u00e9tant une d\u00e9pendance significative aux flux d\u2019importation. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">La hausse des mat\u00e9riaux de construction, reflet d\u2019une dynamique \u00e9conomique interne<\/h2>\n\n<p>L\u2019un des faits marquants de 2025 r\u00e9side dans l\u2019augmentation des importations li\u00e9es au secteur du BTP. Les produits associ\u00e9s \u00e0 la construction atteignent 511 000 tonnes, soit une progression de 53 % par rapport \u00e0 l\u2019ann\u00e9e pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente. <\/p>\n\n<p>Les granulats repr\u00e9sentent 68 % de ce segment, tandis que le clinker en constitue 29 %. Cette acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration sugg\u00e8re une intensification ou une reprise soutenue de l\u2019activit\u00e9 d\u2019infrastructure et de construction dans l\u2019archipel, positionnant le port comme un barom\u00e8tre direct de la dynamique \u00e9conomique locale. <\/p>\n\n<p>\u00c0 l\u2019inverse, les produits \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques enregistrent un net recul. Leur trafic chute de 22 % pour s\u2019\u00e9tablir \u00e0 357 000 tonnes, refl\u00e9tant possiblement des ajustements de stocks, des effets li\u00e9s \u00e0 la transition \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique ou une normalisation de la demande apr\u00e8s des p\u00e9riodes de volatilit\u00e9. <\/p>\n\n<p>Les produits agricoles demeurent relativement stables, avec une progression mod\u00e9r\u00e9e de 4 %.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Terminal de Jarry : extension de capacit\u00e9 et modernisation op\u00e9rationnelle<\/h2>\n\n<p>La modernisation des infrastructures reste au c\u0153ur de la feuille de route strat\u00e9gique du port.<\/p>\n\n<p>En juillet 2025, le terminal de Jarry \u00e0 Baie-Mahault a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9quip\u00e9 de trois nouveaux portiques de quai, con\u00e7us pour accueillir des navires de plus grande capacit\u00e9 et am\u00e9liorer la performance op\u00e9rationnelle. Ces investissements visent \u00e0 densifier les capacit\u00e9s de stockage, fluidifier les flux logistiques et adapter le port \u00e0 un environnement maritime mondial domin\u00e9 par des navires de plus en plus capacitaires. <\/p>\n\n<p>L\u2019autorit\u00e9 portuaire confirme \u00e9galement la poursuite des grands chantiers inscrits dans le plan strat\u00e9gique 2024\u20132028, incluant l\u2019extension du quai 12 (pr\u00e9vue pour 2027) et l\u2019ach\u00e8vement de l\u2019am\u00e9nagement du site de Jarry Sud en 2026.<\/p>\n\n<p>Au total, pr\u00e8s de 230 millions d\u2019euros d\u2019investissements sont programm\u00e9s sur la p\u00e9riode strat\u00e9gique.<\/p>\n\n<p>Dans un entretien accord\u00e9 \u00e0 Guadeloupe La 1\u00e8re, le directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral Jean-Pierre Chalus a pr\u00e9cis\u00e9 que la modernisation des infrastructures de quai vise \u00e0 accueillir des navires \u00e0 plus fort tirant d\u2019eau et \u00e0 plus grande largeur, afin de maintenir l\u2019attractivit\u00e9 du port aupr\u00e8s des \u00ab grandes compagnies maritimes \u00bb.<\/p>\n\n<p>Cette orientation traduit une strat\u00e9gie \u00e0 la fois d\u00e9fensive et prospective dans un environnement carib\u00e9en concurrentiel.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Trafic passagers : repli quantitatif, \u00e9volution qualitative<\/h2>\n\n<p>Le trafic passagers atteint 1,1 million de voyageurs en 2025, soit une l\u00e9g\u00e8re baisse de 3 %. L\u2019activit\u00e9 croisi\u00e8re enregistre 125 escales, \u00e9galement en recul de 3 %. Toutefois, selon les d\u00e9clarations de Jean-Pierre Chalus \u00e0 RCI Guadeloupe, le march\u00e9 \u00e9volue structurellement : les navires faisant escale en Guadeloupe sont plus grands et affichent des taux de remplissage plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Environ 52 % du trafic croisi\u00e8re correspond \u00e0 des escales en transit, contre 48 % pour des op\u00e9rations de t\u00eate de ligne (homeporting). Cette r\u00e9partition refl\u00e8te un positionnement \u00e9quilibr\u00e9 mais sensible au sein de l\u2019\u00e9cosyst\u00e8me r\u00e9gional de la croisi\u00e8re. <\/p>\n\n<p>Les liaisons maritimes inter-\u00eeles connaissent en revanche une ann\u00e9e plus contrast\u00e9e, certains op\u00e9rateurs ayant rencontr\u00e9 des difficult\u00e9s op\u00e9rationnelles entra\u00eenant une r\u00e9duction de l\u2019offre de services.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">S\u00e9curit\u00e9 et pressions concurrentielles<\/h2>\n\n<p>Au-del\u00e0 des volumes, la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 portuaire demeure un enjeu strat\u00e9gique. Dans ses interventions aupr\u00e8s des m\u00e9dias locaux, Jean-Pierre Chalus a \u00e9voqu\u00e9 le renforcement des dispositifs de contr\u00f4le et de surveillance en r\u00e9ponse aux enjeux li\u00e9s aux trafics illicites, en coordination avec les autorit\u00e9s de l\u2019\u00c9tat. <\/p>\n\n<p>Dans le bassin carib\u00e9en, o\u00f9 les routes maritimes constituent \u00e0 la fois des axes \u00e9conomiques majeurs et des corridors sensibles en mati\u00e8re de s\u00e9curit\u00e9, la capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 concilier fluidit\u00e9 des flux et contr\u00f4le rigoureux conditionne la comp\u00e9titivit\u00e9 \u00e0 long terme.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pr\u00e9parer 2026 : consolidation ou repositionnement r\u00e9gional ?<\/h2>\n\n<p>Les r\u00e9sultats de 2025 dessinent le profil d\u2019un port stable mais en mutation. Si les volumes globaux demeurent mod\u00e9r\u00e9s, la progression du transbordement, la forte hausse des mat\u00e9riaux de construction et l\u2019ampleur des investissements engag\u00e9s indiquent que le Grand Port Maritime de Guadeloupe s\u2019inscrit dans une logique d\u2019adaptation structurelle plut\u00f4t que dans une simple continuit\u00e9. <\/p>\n\n<p>Les prochaines ann\u00e9es permettront de mesurer si ces investissements se traduiront par une int\u00e9gration renforc\u00e9e au sein des alliances maritimes r\u00e9gionales et par une comp\u00e9titivit\u00e9 accrue face aux ports voisins de la Cara\u00efbe.
